Study load
The programme duration is 46 contact days in one or two years. Each module consists of three 3-day week (including evenings). The contact hours will be used for knowledge transfer, interaction, reflection and skills. In the period in between sessions (around 4 weeks) the participants will be expected to undertake private study. The Energy project consists of 4 contact days and lasts 9 months. Approximately 50 days of private study will be required. In addition preparing and writing the final thesis typically requires some 70 days.
The decision to take part in the Master of Business in Energy is not one that can be taken lightly. Participation requires considerable commitment, including commitment of time. Participants should recognise that considerable reading is required prior to every block. Time also needs to be set aside for assignments and the final thesis. The programme has been designed to maximise the overlap between people’s present or future jobs and the study. It is structured in such a way that individuals and their organisations are able to get the most out of the course. You may find it personally challenging to have to balance your work, your study and your private life but the rewards are great.
